On Fountain Square this Thursday, May 24, you need to take off work early and blow off your other commitments. Here's why:
That day at 6 pm, we will attempt to set a Guinness World Record for the Most Mentos + Soda Fountains ever. This is potentially spectacular and very cool.
Mentos is bringing the guys from EepyBird (www.eepybird.com) to Cincinnati to recreate their geyser display (made famous on YouTube last year) on the Fountain Square stage and then lead volunteers in setting off 500 Mentos geysers at once.
The first 500 people to sign up to participate will receive a gift bag containing candy, the new Mentos Loading Tube, goggles, and a rain slicker. Registration begins at 5 PM on Fountain Square.
We also need volunteers to be Team Leaders and Registration Assistants. For details, see www.myfountainsquare.com/volunteers. Check in is at 4 PM for Team Leaders and Registration helpers.
There’s an after-party at Rock Bottom for everyone who participates!
